After his Army service in 1964, Alan Zagorsky moved to California and began working as an apprentice to carpenter Carl Owen. He was mentored in the craftsmanship of machining, finish carpentry, design and fabricating custom special effects for the magic and movie industries. He managed, and now owns, the highly reputable special effects company, Owen Magic Supreme.
Brian Zagorsky

Brian Zagorsky learned finish carpentry, machining and fabrication from his father, Alan, at a very young age. Through his father’s mentorship and shared knowledge, Brian has been engineering, designing and fabricating custom-built products out of wood and steel since 1984. After buying a Big Green Egg in 2013, Brian launched his new business, Brian Alan Tables, with his father.
